Stop updating the same stock in ten places

When one product’s variants share the same physical stock, like a gift-wrap or engraving option, Shopify still counts each variant on its own. So every sale means updating the rest by hand, and one slip oversells. Stock Sync keeps them locked together, automatically.

The hassle

Managing shared stock by hand doesn’t scale

Every sale, you’re editing the other variants to match. It’s tedious, easy to forget, and it quietly leads to overselling.

Why Stock Sync

Set it once, and it keeps itself honest

Group the variants that share one supply. Stock Sync handles the rest on every order.

Automatic on every order
When any variant in a group sells, Stock Sync lowers the shared quantity and updates every variant to match. No manual edits.
Shared stock groups
Pool the variants that draw from the same physical stock. Each group has its own quantity and Shopify location.
No overselling or drift
One source of truth per group means variants can’t sell stock that isn’t there or slip out of sync.

How it works

Three steps, then it runs itself

  1. Step 1

    Create a stock group

Give it a name, a starting quantity, and the location the stock lives at.

  2. Step 2

    Assign your variants

Pick the product variants that share that stock with Shopify’s product picker.

  3. Step 3

    Sell as usual

Every order updates the group and re-syncs its variants. Nothing else to do.

Give yourself one less thing to manage

Install Stock Sync and let your variants keep themselves in sync.
